Dear friends and followers,

As I sit down to write this blog post, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for each and every one of you who has supported Amazing Orthodox Churches on this incredible journey. From humble beginnings to where we are today, it's truly remarkable to see how far we've come together.

When I first started this page, I never imagined it would grow into the vibrant community it is now. With over 7k followers and counting, your support has been the driving force behind this success. Whether you've been here from the beginning or recently joined our community, your presence and engagement mean the world to me.

You know, I started Amazing Orthodox Churches back in 2021 simply as a way to share fascinating Orthodox Churches. I was tired of seeing junk and meaningless garbage being posted all over social media. As Christians we need to always be mindful of what we consume, both in terms of nurshishnent and entertainment media. I felt as if the internet was mostly full of naked women, brainless humor, cat memes, and other drivel that doesn't support or nourish the Orthodox mind.

So I decided to start posting Churches. And the page then developed on its own becoming slowly over time the social media ministry it is today. God took my idea and blessed it. Now we're growing and becoming more than just an Instagram page. We're becoming a vibrant online community where Orthodox Christians and seekers alike can come together to explore, appreciate, and celebrate the rich heritage of our Eastern Orthodox faith. From the intricate architectural wonders of ancient churches to the profound spiritual experiences they offer, Amazing Orthodox Churches has slowly become a place of ministry in the digital landscape, offering a sanctuary amidst the noise and chaos of social media.

Together, we're not just sharing images of beautiful churches; we're fostering connections, inspiring faith, and spreading the timeless truths of Orthodoxy to people around the world.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to each of you. Thank you for liking, sharing, and commenting on my posts. Thank you for your words of encouragement and support. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.

Looking ahead, I'm excited to share some future plans for Amazing Orthodox Churches. We're expanding into new avenues, including YouTube videos and in-person content. These endeavors will allow us to connect with you on an even deeper level and continue spreading the beauty of Orthodox Christianity far and wide.

My future plans for Amazing Orthodox Churches: I see a horizon that extends far beyond Instagram. I want to immerse myself in the world of YouTube videos and in-person encounters, bringing the essence of Orthodox Christianity to life in new and exciting ways.

My plan is to embark on personal visits to churches, capturing their stories and sharing them with a global audience. I'd like to narrate their histories, engage in conversations with priests, and create dynamic content that celebrates the beauty of Orthodoxy. Additionally, I hope to introduce a podcast discussing various aspects of the faith, along with videos exploring deeper elements of Orthodox spirituality.

Moreover, my vision doesn't stop there. I aim to make AOC self-sustaining by offering merchandise that supports future excursions. This way, I can continue to share the wonders of Orthodoxy while fostering connections and inspiring faith.

As I look ahead, I see a journey filled with adventure, discovery, and growth. Through our collective efforts, I believe that AOC will become not just a platform for sharing churches but a beacon of inspiration and unity for Orthodox Christians around the world.

But none of this would be possible without you, our amazing community. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for your continued support, your unwavering enthusiasm, and your dedication to our shared mission.

Here's to many more milestones together!

With love and gratitude,

Subdeacon Ioannikios
